During the live telecast of TALES OF TOMORROW, the show is interrupted by a ghost image of a man plotting to kill his wife. The show's cast and crew have no idea where the signal is coming from or how to stop the impending murder! A startling live television broadcast reminiscent of Orson Welles' famed WAR OF THE WORLDS hoax.

The year was 1951. The Cold War was heating up. Russia had the bomb. Flying saucers invaded the skies over New Mexico. Network television was only five years old and science fiction was entering its renaissance, with such visionary films as ROCKETSHIP X-M, DESTINATION MOON and THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. From out of these turbulent times was born TV's first science fiction anthology series: TALES OF TOMORROW on the ABC television network.

TALES OF TOMORROW, a ground-breaking, thought-provoking series, featuring the top film stars of the day. A show so new and different, it set the stage for other thriller-anthology series, such as THE TWILIGHT ZONE and THE OUTER LIMITS. Not to be missed!

Produced by Mort Abrahams. Produced in association with Richard H. Gordon, Jr.
